Days/Rotate - 8 hr
Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist - and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and the standard policies and procedures of the department - assists the pharmacist in all aspects of the medication, IV solution, and pharmaceutical supply distribution systems.
High School Grad or Equivalent
Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred but not required for hire. All Technicians will be required to pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam within 18 months of hire. On the job training will be provided along with educational materials to employees to support this requirement
Prior health care experience is preferred but not required. Pharmacy experience or Pharmacy Technician Certification will have that experience taken into consideration.
