Performs a variety of secretarial/administrative duties in support of the Director and Management Team of the Emergency Services Department. Maintains the utmost in confidentiality. Assists wherever and whenever possible by assuming delegated responsibilities and exercising flexibility within the scope of the position.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Three years of administrative experience including one year in a health care organization. Must have knowledge of organizational structure, policies, procedures, bylaws, and systems. Knowledge of office management techniques, practices, computer systems, and applications. Knowledge of research methods and procedures sufficient to compile data and prepare reports. Knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Knowledge of purchasing, budgeting, bookkeeping, and inventory control. Skill in the operation of office equipment. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public. Ability to communicate and present information. Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities. Ability to work independently. Must be proficient in secretarial duties, organizational skills, and computer skills.
