Days/Rotate - 8 hr
Install, inspect, adjust, repair and rebuild lighting fixtures, electrical equipment (motors, controllers, switchgear) and systems within the hospital complex and/or any off-site property serviced by RPH Maintenance which fall within departmental capabilities.
Responsible for the daily function and operation, ensuring safe and efficient operation of all mechanical/electrical systems of the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system including but not limited to; High Pressure Steam Boiler, Reciprocating Engine, Waste Heat Recovery System, Chemical Treatment Systems, Emergency Generators and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A valid driver’s license is required for travel to various facilities.
During orientation period, employee may be required to participate in a "Powered industrial truck operators" course (#78-199 published by NIOSH) and is able to interpret and exercise all information and rules set forth in the regulations. This must be renewed by incumbent annually.
A combination of two or more years of experience and up to two years of post high school vocational training in specialty area totaling at least four years.
