The Coordinator has direct responsibilities for the management and administrative functions for the Emergency Medical Health Services. The role is responsible for the assessment, implementation, oversight, and expansion of specific education programs that are offered both within the Guthrie System and the surrounding communities. Learning theories are utilized when formulating and implementing educational programs/activities for staff, clients, and the community. The Coordinator is self-directed in maintaining competencies; is self-motivated in identifying own strengths and limitations; and seeks to improve areas of weakness. The Coordinator is administratively responsible for the supervision of all instructors and will work in collaboration with all levels of management, staff, clients, and community. The Coordinator will oversee the Community Training Centers daily activities while ensuring compliance with all guidelines for a variety of trainings.
An Associate’s Degree in a related field (Nursing, Education, Health Sciences, Human Services, etc) is preferred for the Coordinator.
A minimum of five years’ experience as an Instructor or three years of EMT; Paramedic; Nursing; or higher level of field experience. Demonstrate abilities in leadership, project management, quality improvement tools and processes, teaching, and the ability to function in a team setting as a facilitator.
