With oversight and direction from the Executive Director, Donald Guthrie Foundation, the Medical Librarian develops and delivers collections and services to meet the information needs of the Guthrie staff. Provides research services and instruction. Oversees, organizes, and maintains the library collections. Promotes and continually improves library services and collections. The medical librarian also assists with projects to increase the visibility of Guthrie in the internal and external research and clinical communities.
Master’s degree in library or information science from a program accredited by the American Library Association.
One year of experience working in a health science or health system environment is preferred.
Membership in the Academy of health Information Professionals is preferred.
