The Provider Services Specialist is responsible for ensuring employment documentation is submitted so that new permanent and temporary (locum) providers may begin employment on time. The specialist is also responsible for creation of new and updated APP collaboration agreements; meeting and vacation metric tracking; and CME tracking for permanent hires.
A high school diploma is required. An Associate’s Degree in related field is preferred.
2 years prior experience performing administrative duties, ideally in a healthcare setting, required. Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently is required. Exposure to and thorough understanding of PC software applications is required. Knowledge of applicable employment, compensation/benefits, and employee relations laws and regulations preferred.
