Reg Polysomnographic Technolog
Conducts nocturnal and diurnal sleep studies to include monitoring of EEG, EOG, EKG, EMG,
Nasal and oral ventilation, chest excursion, and pulse oximetry. Incumbent may perform special procedures including CPAP and BiPAP titrations. Assists in scoring sleep studies interpreting
polygraphic recordings. Tests are performed on children adults, and geriatric patients. Position may involve travel to various host facilities within the twin tiers. Position may also require call coverage for Neurodiagnostics EEG.
Clinical experience preferred. Candidate must possess the ability to learn how to operate and troubleshoot diagnostic equipment. Candidate must complete Polysomnographic Technology Training and pass RPSGT exam within 18 months of hire.
