Responsible for interviewing patient or their representatives to obtain complete patient registration and required third party billing information. Responsible for complete and accurate data entry of patient information into the computer system. Assists in preparation of patient bills to estimate and collect amount, i.e. co-payments, due at time of service.
High school graduate/Additional Allied Health career training desired, knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
At least one year experience in a position requiring frequent and direct customer contact with proven positive interactions preferred. Experience with computer is required for this position. Candidate should have experience in a role requiring strong organizational and communication skills. Good typing skills – speed not required. Must be accurate.
