East Corning Urology is an outpatient urology practice with a team nursing environment. We recently built the East Corning Medical Office Building which connects to Corning Hospital. Urology is one of eight practices in our multi-specialty building and consists of collaboration spaces for providers and staff to work together to diagnose and treat our patients. Each workspace is equipped with a dual monitor computer and a sit to stand motorized desk. Our goal in East Corning Urology is to create a comfortable environment for both staff and patients.
To supervise nursing care in the Urology department. Responsible for promoting and maintaining high standards of quality nursing care. Maintains all policies and procedures. Interacts with physicians to maintain the integrity of the schedule. Carefully monitor issues to include safety, infection control, performance improvement and hazardous waste issues to ensure compliance to established policies and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree RN
Experience with urological procedures preferred but not required.
Experience with Cystoscopies, TRUS biopsies, vasectomies, catheter changes and bladder treatments.
