Main Function

Is responsible for the provision of spiritual support to patients and families in keeping with the patient/familys desire and belief system. Is responsible for implementing and coordinating all activities relating to the spiritual aspect of Guthrie Hospice (the spiritual component of the interdisciplinary team) consistent with agency policies and procedures. Is responsible for overseeing and coordinating activities for the Guthrie Hospice Bereavement Program.

Education

Bachelors' Degree in Bible Ministry or related field of study required.  Biblical prerequisites preferred.

Experience

Experience working with families/patients dealing with life threatening illness and death. Ability to be open, flexible and ecumenical.

Preferable experience working in Hospice Care of similar settings.
