Main Function

The nuclear medicine technologist uses radioactive materials in specialized studies of body organs and/or laboratory analysis to assist the physician in the diagnosis of disease and injury.
Work closely with the Chairman, manager and Service Line Administrator to plan, execute and report on performance improvement activities for the Guthrie Health division of radiology crossing the spectrum of all imaging modalities. This position requires close collaboration with the Radiology Manager for the overall management and involves direct responsibility for quality of radiologic examinations of Diagnostic Radiology Services at Robert Packer Hospital.

Education

High School and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. AAS degree preferred.

Certification required; ARRT(R), Advanced certification (ARRT(N)) or NMTCB preferred.

Experience

Minimum of three months preferred. Registered technologist in a Radiology Department of a general acute-care hospital.
