Functioning as the duly authorized representative of the Board of Directors, is responsible for achieving the organizational mission through the most efficient and effective management of the organizations Human Resources, Financial Resources and Physical Assets. Interprets and implements policies of the Governing Board and acts as advisor and liaison in matters involving the formulation of policy.
Masters degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration or other relevant field required.
Five to eight years senior level administrative experience in an organization with multiple lines of authority required. Two to three years senior level administrative experience in a relevant health care organization preferred. Proven track record of leadership in health care or other business management capacity; requires a specific record of accomplishment establishing the individual has attained significant results in line management positions.
Extensive knowledge of organizational theory and practice in large complex institutions. Considerable knowledge of Human Resource Management, financial management and marketing. Ability to integrate the objectives and programs of the Board, Medical Staff and Administration to obtain results in a manner acceptable to all groups.
