Certified Athletic Trainer
The incumbent shall be responsible for providing a full range of athletic training services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the positions qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. The incumbent shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion. Incumbent shall be responsible for providing athletic training services to the schools for which are under contract..
The incumbent shall, at a minimum, be a graduate of an accredited four-year bachelors degree program. Incumbent must Board Certified by the National Athletic Training Association. Current licensure in the state of primary practice is required. Current dual licensure in New York and Pennsylvania is preferred. Education/experience in working with an adolescent and adult population is necessary; education/experience-serving people with physical limitations
