The Director, Corporate Revenue Cycle (CRC) Training and Support Services reports to the Vice President, Corporate Revenue Cycle, and is responsible for the management of the Corporate Revenue Cycle Training and Support Services department through collaboration with the revenue cycle senior leaders, department directors/managers and projects’ team
The Director, Corporate Revenue Cycle Training and Support Services, has responsibility for incorporating principles of adult learning in the design, development, provision and follow up for education programs for staff and management across all Corporate Revenue Cycle departments, departments outside of the Corporate Revenue Cycle whose employees execute key functions of the revenue cycle, as well as external vendors. Responsibilities include development of class curriculum as well as ongoing management of course content according to changes in operational processes and procedures. The Director, Corporate Revenue Cycle Training and Support Services must maintain knowledge of Revenue Cycle information systems, departmental processes, and policies and procedures. Training venues include individual and small group courses, large classroom sessions that span several days of course content, and development of online courses utilizing the learning management system. This position supports CRC new hire training as well as training for new system implementations and upgrades. To support new system implementations, the Director is responsible for leading education project teams, determining tasks and timelines to create, develop and provide project training, and track issues relative to completion of the project training initiative. This position also has responsibility to provide consultation regarding principles of education to revenue cycle staff who are identified as “super users”.
The position adheres to The Guthrie Clinic Corporate Revenue Cycle policies and procedures, and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service & accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Healthcare or related field.
Master’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Healthcare or related field.
Minimum seven years’ experience in healthcare-related adult education environment with specific emphasis on revenue cycle operations management and/or education.
Other Licensures: CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) – ATD (Association for Talent Development) Certification or other Education related certificate (Preferred).
Previous related operational and supervisory experience required. Superior prioritization skills, including ability to manage an array of people, projects, and deadlines.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information and education to all levels of employees from front line to senior management.
Strategic minded with an ability to collaborate with department and project leaders to anticipate needs and develop effective education plans.
Ability to proactively prepare for and react effectively to the changing healthcare environment
Results oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic, project-oriented environment.
Self-motivated, detail oriented, strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
