Main Function

The Administrative Coordinator performs administrative duties including those of a confidential nature for the Director of Graduate Medical Education, Manager of Residency Programs, and Designated Institutional Official, interacts on a regular basis with physicians and Guthrie leadership, accreditation agencies, students and staff from medical facilities.


High school diploma and one-year executive secretarial training required (equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of executive secretarial training).

Associates degree in secretarial sciences or bachelor’s degree preferred.


Minimum of three years of increasingly responsible secretarial/administrative assistance experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, problem solving, and ability to speak in public.  

Must have the ability to work well under pressure, exercise independent judgment, and maintain composure and pleasant attitude.

Requires knowledge of contract review and new innovations reporting and training.  

Must have excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
