The Regulatory Specialist supports the Manager of Talent Acquisition relative to regulatory compliance activities for Human Resources. Completes assessments, audits and monitors performance to assure compliance with internal policy and human resources related requirements developed by CMS, the Department of Health and the Joint Commission. Evaluates and summarizes assessment findings to identify opportunities for improvements. Facilitates and monitors HR related action plans. Assists with survey coordination and is the primary contact for regulatory surveyor requests.
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is required.
2 years prior experience performing duties specifically relevant to regulatory compliance and HR in a healthcare environment is preferred. Exposure to and thorough understanding of PC software applications is required. Knowledge of applicable regulations required. Demonstrates critical thinking skills, problem solving skills and effective communication skills.
