The Database Administrator (DBA) will work as part of the Enterprise Information Management team. In this role, you will have responsibility for the performance, integrity, and security of a wide range of database systems supporting our organization. The DBA provides technical expertise in the design, installation, configuration, capacity planning and general maintenance activities for the database management systems that support institutional business and clinical applications.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, engineering, physics or statistics.Applicable experience may be substituted for up to two years of education requirement.
3 - 6 years of experience with relational database management.
Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts
Experience with SQL optimization and tuning, stored procedures and SQL scripting
Data Warehouses and Data Marts design using dimensional data and ETL processes
Prior experience with EMR and clinical systems data in a healthcare organization is preferred
Software programming/coding experience a plus
MS SQL Server Database Certification (MSCA/MSCE) preferred
Epic certifications in Clarity/Caboodle Data Model
(Certifications will be required within first year as a condition of employment)
