Days - On-call Rotation
Responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, operating system software, and utilities on Microsoft Windows operating systems installed on Intel based servers. Also responsible for planning and implementation of technical solutions that support the strategic goals of the enterprise, and are consistent with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Manages/supports related technologies such as Storage Area Network (SAN), tape library subsystems, thin client computing, virtual computing, enterprise e-mail system, and Data Center resources. Participation in on-call rotation is required.
B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field
At least four years experience in the systems support field. Applicable experience or relevant certifications may be substituted for up to two years of the education requirement. Technical experience should consist of work directly involved with target support environment including computers, operating systems, Intersystem database, TCP/IP communication protocols, and Storage Area Networks. Knowledge of various programming languages and LAN/WAN technology desired. Candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills and a service orientation. Experience with Epic infrastructure such as BCA, Hyperspace, and Interconnect is a desired plus. UNIX and AIX experience preferred.
