Days/Rotate - 10 hr
Responsible for the coordination of all medical records and third party approvals, cash payments and claims forms. Schedules new patient visits and subsequent return visits. Files medical records, coordinates mail correspondence, types letters and memos. Is cross trained to provide coverage for RehabTechs. May cover Womens Health and Wellness Services as needed. Answers phones and greets patients. Utilizes IDX and multiple Microsoft office programs including word, excel, and powerpoint.
High School Grad or Equivalent
Post graduate work in medical terminoligy and secretarial sciences required. Ability to type accurately at 50 - 60 wpm from recorded dictation or handwritten drafts. Proficiency with computer office software including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and IDX.
