Main Function
The main function of the Credentialed Trainer is to conduct end user training for the Epic Electronic Health Record across The Guthrie Clinic. A Credentialed Trainer (CT) is responsible for in-classroom training of Epic and operational workflows to end users. They will also provide go-live and post go-live support to the units/departments/practices. A key responsibility will be to work collaboratively with the Principal Trainers, Training Manager, and the IT Team in the execution of classroom training of EHR end-users.
Education
Associates Degree required. In lieu of an associate’s degree currently licensed healthcare professionals (ie. LPN’s, RN’s, Social Workers, etc.) or 5 years of healthcare experience may be considered
Experience
5 years’ experience in application development including knowledge of software development methodologies and data base administration.
Knowledge of healthcare operations and data models.
Supervisory experience including leading team development projects.
Healthcare IT experience, specifically with healthcare systems interfacing, is preferred.
