Main Function

The Talent Acquisition Manager will serve as a member of the Human Resources and The Guthrie Clinic Leadership (TGC) Management Teams and play an instrumental role in leading and modernizing the talent acquisition function across the entire TGC system. He/she will provide leadership, direction, and support to the talent acquisition function to ensure the talent needs of TGC are consistently met in a proactive, innovative and highly-efficient manner that supports the health systems strategic and operational plans, ensures a reliable, high-quality pipeline of top talent, and produces the highest levels of customer service, credibility, satisfaction, and support to the brand of this institution.
Reporting to the Vice President of Talent for TGC, the Talent Acquisition Manager will assume overall leadership responsibility for developing and directing a dynamic, progressive, and highly interactive and engaged recruitment team to meet the talent acquisition needs for this multi-site integrated health system. The Manager will serve as a thought leader, charged with assessing the current talent acquisition process and team, crafting a future model that reflects a more progressive and innovative approach that is truly customer-centric, in order to achieve the optimal talent acquisition function required by TGC.

Education

An Undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or a related field is required; A Master’s degree is preferred

Experience

5-7 years experience in Human Resources with a significant amount of talent acquisition in a complex health delivery system or other complex organization/industry is required.

  • Experience in executing successful recruitment programs for key roles or hard to fill positions;
  • Experience in designing, developing and implementing long-term strategies;
  • Ability to consult and partner with all levels in the organization.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to impact and influence decision making.
  • Experience in the using of selection tools that yield the greatest probability of success.
     

A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a large, complex corporate environment with experience designing and implementing complex processes across multiple locations is preferred. 

 

Demonstrated track record of utilization of innovative Talent Acquisition techniques required.
