Lean certification preferred. All Certifications and Licenses required for this job must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.
Functions as a leader and facilitator for all aspects of organizational Lean implementation across the Guthrie system. Primary functions include leading organizational or cross-departmental improvement initiatives. This includes stakeholder engagement, leading entity or system projects with deliverables, ensuring that all projects are conducted with sound methods and techniques. Identifying new opportunities; coaching and mentoring junior team members / facilitators in the development of the system’s improvement strategy as well as the execution of Kaizen events and other Lean projects; tracking and communicating the results of improvement activities across the system.
Master’s degree in health care administration, Nursing, Business, Industrial Engineering or other related field preferred. Combination of experience, education and training will be considered
Three to six years’ experience in facilitation and process improvement. Experience in driving Lean initiatives with proven results preferred. Healthcare related experience with team leadership experience, preferred.
