Lic Practical Nurse - PA
The Licensed Practical Nurse, under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and the Nurse Manager is responsible for giving patient care using the nursing process. Nursing care encompasses patients of all ages regardless of race, religion, or cultural background.
Current LPN license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania
Graduate of an accredited LPN course with a current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania. The LPN practices within the scope of PA state code 21.145. Current CPR and practices standard precautions. Completes skills checklist in orientation and annual competency skills checklist in accordance with nursing unit guidelines and continues to seek assistance when performing an unfamiliar procedure. Maintains 14 hours of continuing education per year including CPR training. Identifies educational needs and utilizes resources both inside and outside the hospital to increase skills and knowledge base. Keeps neat and legible written documents.
