The Guthrie Clinic
The Legal Department Paralegal will be responsible for work assignments and projects at the direction of General Counsel. Duties include, but not limited to: gathering, preparing and summarizing relevant materials, participate on strategic and tactical corporate legal initiatives, maintain new and existing files, indexes and tracks documents received and sent at direction of General Counsel. In addition, the Paralegal will be responsible for reviewing agreements, facilitate business transactions, and assist with managing and ensuring compliance of the System in general, assisting with litigation and discovery matters as requested. Assist with contacting and preparing witnesses for testimony, production of medical records and other matters as requested. Also performs work and other duties as required by General Counsel, with potential.
High School Grad or Equivalent required.
Associates Degree in paralegal studies preferred, but not required.
Prefer experience in healthcare field or related law firm experience, but not required. Desire to work in fast paced, complex environment with strong attention to detail and ability to multi task a must. Ability to work in a confidential environment and respond as necessary.
