Main Function

Ensures system revenue integrity through monitoring and maximizing system revenue, overseeing projects related to revenue opportunities, management of the charge master maintenance, pricing strategy and patient estimates. Responsible for achieving strategic pricing net revenue targets as outlined in The Guthrie Clinic annual budget.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in finance related field, and/or Healthcare Management or other related healthcare field is required.  CPA and / or Master’s Degree preferred.

Experience

Experience: 5 to 7 years of healthcare financial management and/or revenue cycle experience. Clinical experience a plus.

Knowledge of third party payer contracts, fee profiles, and reimbursement requirements for commercial health plans and state and federal programs. Working knowledge of standard HCPCS coding and billing practices. 

Strong knowledge of computers, billing collections software, analytical tools, and database technology. Solid analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and project management. Working knowledge of Epic a plus.

Reports to: VP, Corporate Revenue Cycle 

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Corporate Revenue Integrity:  Charge Master Coordinator, , Provider Enrollment & Contracting, Compliance Liaison,  Managed Care Contract Analysts, SER Coordinator and matrical Fee Schedule Coordinator
